nakedbus.com® is delighted to announce more buses between Mount Maunganui, Tauranga and Auckland - there are now two buses a day at convenient times. One bus goes via Hamilton, as now, while the second bus goes via these places:
This gives the fastest service between Mt Maunganui / Tauranga and Auckland as we miss out the detour via Thames and avoid any delays on the Kopu Bridge.
Ngatea is joined to our network for the first time - an important town not served by any other network. We are also offering direct services between Katikati, Paeroa, Waihi and Waihi beach to Auckland for the first time.
The services connect at Ngatea with buses to Whitianga (if you are travelling between Whitianga and Auckland or Tauranga, please book separate tickets via Ngatea - the buses connect and will wait for each other).
If you are travelling further north, you can catch the nakedbus to Whangarei by changing in Auckland.
Customers in Whakatane, Opotiki and Kawerau can now travel same day to Auckland by changing at Tauranga (unfortunately this is not yet available in reverse - though we are working on it). Just book a ticket to Tauranga, then a separate ticket from Tauranga to Auckland.
The new services leave Tauranga and Auckland at lunchtime seven days a week.
All of these new services start on Monday 7 May, 2007.
As always fares start at $1 (plus 70c booking fee).

nakedbus.com® is delighted to announce a direct service between Picton and Westport and Greymouth, operating in both directions seven days a week. As always fares start at $1.
Southbound you can also travel directly from Blenheim to Westport and Greymouth. Northbound a change is required at Murchison (please buy a ticket for each sector).
You can still travel from Greymouth and Westport to Nelson, but a change is required at Murchison on the northbound service (please buy a ticket for each sector).
You can also travel to St. Arnaud from Nelson, Picton and Blenheim, as well as Westport and Greymouth - a change of vehicle is required on some routes.
These services start on 16 April.
What a way to go! Being a pensioner it is just so wonderful to make this trip possible for me!

Really glad for the service, which has been very helpful and cost efficient. Have also been delighted with the friendly and helpful drivers. Lately we’ve been hearing that [competitor] plans to go carbon neutral, and were thinking you should do that too.

Keep it up
Keep up the cheap tickets and good service.
