What is a Passenger?

14 July 2007

nakedbus.com® operates using only one passenger category: passengers are all people intending to travel 5 years and over. We do not have separate fares for children, senior citizens or students.

How can you afford to have $1 fares?

14 July 2007

Not all our prices are $1. The earlier you book your bus trips the less you pay, but once our $1 seats are sold, our prices rise modestly. However we think they are all extremely good value for money.

What are your prices?

14 July 2007

nakedbus.com® seats start from as little as $1 (plus booking fee). Prices vary according to demand. The best prices will be offered to those who book early or to those who book on the less popular journeys. Prices start at $1 on all buses every day and all journeys will remain competitively priced offering excellent value for money. Please note that due to the high sales volumes on our site prices may change between searches.

A one-off booking fee is charged for all nakedbus.com® reservations. This fee is charged to cover bank and administration charges related to your order. Please note that the fee is per booking, not per trip. The fee is 70c online and may vary with agents.

14 July 2007

Our services are insured for areas which are our legal responsibility. All legal liabilities to third parties, to include damage to property and personal injury are covered.

There is no insurance cover provided for loss, damage or injury where the bus company has not been negligent. You might like to purchase personal travel insurance for this cover.

Tauranga to Whangarei - new connection from $1

14 July 2007

I had problems making my payment, what should I do?

14 July 2007

Please check your email inbox for the nakedbus.com® reservation email. If you have received this then your transaction was successful. If, however, you do not receive it within an hour or so of your transaction then please contact us.

Do I get a ticket?

14 July 2007

nakedbus.com® services use e-ticketing, and bus trips can only be purchased from our website or at our authorized bus agents. When you make a reservation on a nakedbus.com® bus service, you will be given a booking reference. Take this with you and present it to the driver when you travel. It’s as simple as that.

You can also get your booking number by text message - select this option at checkout – it costs 99c extra.

Will I get a confirmation?

14 July 2007

After completing your payment you will be presented with your bus journey confirmation, which includes your booking reference number. This confirmation will also be emailed to the address you supplied. If you do not get an email, please check your spam or trash folder as some spam filters reject the confirmation email.

You must keep a note of the booking reference and present it to the driver to get on the bus

Why is my journey not offered?

14 July 2007

This may happen for three reasons.

Firstly nakedbus.com® may not run the trip you want. Check our route map for where we go.

Secondly check our bus Timetables section to ensure the journey operates on the date you have chosen.

Alternatively it may simply be that the journey has sold out. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
