Change of booking Fee from 1st May 2009

At Nakedbus, our aim is to provide you with the best service possible. However, due to rising costs in this harsh economic climate we regret to inform you that we had to increase the booking fee. The booking fee will be $1 with every booking starting from 1st May 2009.

Just a small tip for you: if you would like to book multiple trips, put them all into one basket and only checkout once, then you will only pay the booking fee once.

Overnight service for Easter

With the Easter season fast approaching, Nakedbus is putting on additional services to ensure everyone is able to visit family and friends while still have enough money in their pockets to enjoy their visit.

We are running an overnight service from Auckland to Wellington (vice versa and available for stops along the route) on the 9th, 10th and 13th April. This means you do not need to waste a day on travelling when you could be spending quality time with friends and family.

As always, prices start from $1 so hurry and book your bus ride now.

Rhythm & Vines

Be part of the biggest New Year’s celebration in New Zealand at Rhythm and Vines in Gisborne. A dedicated R&V nakedbus.com bus will depart from Auckland on the 28th December bringing you right to the door step of the exciting celebration.

We have even teamed up with the event organizers so we are able to introduce new packages that include the following:

- Bus to Rhythm & Vines
- Festival Tickets
- Camp Site for your stay
- Shuttle services for the four days in town

Buses leave Auckland at 7.15am, and also pick up at:

- Bombay
- Huntly
- Ngaruawahia
- Hamilton
- Cambridge
- Tirau
- Rotorua
- Kawerau
- Whakatane

The bus returns from Gisborne again at 4pm on 1st January, 2009, which leaves you enough time to sober up and pack up for home.

Back by popular demand, nakedbus.com is putting their special Big Day Out 2009 service on the 16th January. This return journey to the Holy Grail of music events in New Zealand will start at nakedbus.com’s famous $1* tickets!

Pickups are at:

·         Hastings/Napier
·         Taupo
·         Rotorua (with a stop at McDonalds for breakfast - opening especially for the nakedbus crew!)
·         Hamilton
·         Cambridge

And all usual stops in between.

The line up this year for Big Day Out includes:

Road Block in Wellington on 16th November

Wakefield Street in Wellington will be blocked off this Saturday 15th November from Midnight Night to 6.00 p.m. Sunday 16th November  - Pick up and drop off at Bunny Street only on Sunday 16th November

Bunny Street Bus stop: Bunny Street, (near Waterloo Quay), Outside Railway Station / OPPOSITE Backpackers.

Transfer bus stop has changed from Bayfair to Tauranga

Attention to all customers holding a booking reference that includes a transfer bus at Bayfair. Please note that the transfer stop has been changed to Tauranga.

The bus will now stop at Tauranga around about 3.30pm (on Willow Street, right in front of the Tauranga information centre) and the transfer bus will pick you up at 5.10pm (at Wharf Street on the corner of Willow Street).

We humbly apologize for the change of transfer stops and any inconvenience this change may cause.
