Why doesn’t the booking form work?

Please note that all prices are quoted in NZ Dollars and include GST. The only mandatory fee is the $1.00 booking fee.

When can I book?

Bookings can only be made for the dates that show in the booking form - we restrict the dates available for operational reasons. You can book any time up to the day before travel.

If seats are not showing up as far in advance as other trips it is because we are revising the times for this trip. Please check back later.

When do your services operate?

Timetables for® services can be viewed online by selecting the Times & Stops section of the site.

These timetables are correct as at today. Please check the “Start your journey here” booking form on the left for your date of travel.

How do I search for journeys?

All® services are sold as individual journeys. Make a return booking by selecting a return date on the booking form. Then choose the outward and return trips you want.

From “Start your journey here” choose the number of passengers who wish to travel, including children of 5 years and over (children under 5 years travel free). Please note that all passengers travelling under the same booking reference must board the bus together.

Now choose your leaving from and travelling to points.® services connect strategic locations in the towns and cities we serve. Make your reservation to and from your chosen town or city and then choose which stop to get on and off. The fares are the same whatever stop(s) you use in a town or city.

Details of our departure and arrival points are provided in your confirmation email. We suggest you print this out for reference.

Next choose your outbound date from the drop down menu,® services can be booked up to 42 days in advance.

If you want to book a return then select a return date in the “returning?” drop down menu.

When you are happy with your selection click on “start search”.

I can’t see any destinations in the booking form

I can’t find the destination I want

If the destination you want does not appear,® does not run a direct service to that location from your departure point. Check our route map, and see whether you can make a connecting journey. You will have to book two separate trips.

How do I book a journey?

After completing your search® will offer you a list of the available journeys for your selection. The day before and the day after the date you selected will also be shown so that you can choose the most cost-effective option for you. Prices are quoted in NZ Dollars and are inclusive of GST.

Please note that the departure and arrival times displayed are for the main points you selected. You may choose to get on or off the bus at a different point in the same town or city. Details will be shown in your booking confirmation.

Select your journey(s) by clicking the circle next to the journey(s) you wish to book from the list.

You can now choose to search and add more journeys or checkout.

Can I book a specific seat?

No. You cannot book specific seats on® services.

Can I book more than one journey in one transaction?

Yes. Click on “Add more trips” in the “save” section of the booking process.

Why is my journey not offered?

This may happen for three reasons.

Firstly® may not run the trip you want. Check our route map for where we go.

Secondly check our Timetables section to ensure the journey operates on the date you have chosen.

Alternatively it may simply be that the journey has sold out. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Can I change a booking?

Yes - This can only be completed if more than 24 hours before the first journey departure on the order. A $1.70 fee (70c change booking fee and $1.00 booking fee) is charged for all orders being changed. The cost of the original ticket (minus booking fee) will be credited against the subsequent order. If the subsequent order is less expensive than the initial order, we do not refund the difference. If the initial order is less expensive than the subsequent order you will have to pay the difference.

How do I pay?

In order to keep costs down so that we can offer the lowest fares possible, we have a limited number of payment options.

  1. You can pay by credit card. We currently accept Mastercard and Visa only. Sorry we do not accept American Express or Diners Club. In order to make a booking you must pay by credit card on our secure website. Once you have completed all your orders you will be taken to the DPS page to pay for your journeys. Enter the necessary details and make your payment.
  2. Internet banking. Please follow the instructions carefully.

You cannot pay the driver. We do not accept payment by cash or cheque. We are investigating other methods of payment for the future.

Will I get a confirmation?

After completing your payment you will be presented with your journey confirmation, which includes your booking reference number. This confirmation will also be emailed to the address you supplied. If you do not get an email, please check your spam or trash folder as some spam filters reject the confirmation email.

Do I get a ticket?® services use e-ticketing, and trips can only be purchased from our website. When you make a reservation on a® service you will be given a booking reference. Take this with you and present it to the driver when you travel? it?s as simple as that.

You can also get your booking number by text message - select this option at checkout.

I had problems making my payment, what should I do?

Please check your email inbox for the® reservation email. If you have received this then your transaction was successful. If however you do not it within an hour or so of your transaction then please contact us.

Can I cancel and/or get a refund?

Once completed® bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded. For more information, please see our cancellation policy.

However while® will make every effort to operate its services as scheduled, where this fails to occur full refunds or alternative travel bookings will be offered.

Does offer insurance?

Our services are insured for areas which are our legal responsibility. All legal liabilities to third parties, to include damage to property and personal injury are covered.

There is no insurance cover provided for loss, damage or injury where the bus company has not been negligent. You might like to purchase personal travel insurance for this cover.
