When do I have to get to the bus stop?

5 minutes before departure time. If you are not at the bus stop 5 minutes before departure your seats might be resold. Please ensure that you make yourself clearly visible to the bus driver at intermediate stops.

What do I have to show to the driver?

You must show a valid booking number to the driver. You will not be carried on a nakedbus.com® service unless you provide the booking number for that trip.

When do you change the timetables?

We will not change the times of services that we have advertised, except for reasons outside our control. Trips are generally displayed on the website for 42 days. Times more than 42 days in advance may change. We will contact you on the email address you supply in the unlikely event we have to change the time of your trip(s).

Do the buses stop en route?

Yes, most buses stop to pick up passengers at other locations. On buses without toilets comfort stops will be made where you can also buy refreshments.

What facilities do your buses offer?

nakedbus.com® operates a range of vehicles. All have coach seats and air conditioning.

Can I smoke on the bus?

No. Under the provisions of the Smoke Free Environments Act (1990), bus services are required to be smoke-free, including on-board toilets, where provided.

Can children (under 12) travel alone?

No. We cannot carry children under the age of 12 alone. Children aged 13 and older may be carried alone. Children travelling alone do so at the responsibility of a parent or guardian.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Our services are sold subject to the Carriage of Goods Act 1979 and the terms and conditions set out on the nakedbus.com® website

Our total liability is limited to the price of the ticket paid for that trip.

Your ticket is only valid for the trip on which it was booked.

You are not entitled to a refund if you do not travel for any reason.

If you change your ticket you will have to pay any appropriate fees plus the balance of the ticket price if the new ticket is more expensive than the old ticket.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars.
